Testimonies from puppy owners- I was looking online for a dog that would suit our family – not necessarily a show dog. I came across a picture showing a Mini Pinscher, German Pinscher and a Dobermann. And like the story of Goldilocks and the three bears! I thought the mini pinscher was too small and the Dobermann too big but German Pinscher was just right. I came across Masterkarn Kennels during a web search and after talking to Anita I decided it would be fun to show a dog, I was lucky enough to be able to buy one and haven’t looked back since. We kept in touch and I was sent photo’s and updates on my new dog as he progressed – we decided on Tyson for his name and couldn’t wait to meet him. From day one Tyson became part of our family. We feel so lucky that Masterkarn breed with not only looks but good temperament in mind as Tyson has a fantastic disposition; he is intelligent and was very easy to train. German Pinschers are a wash and go type of dog with very little you need to do apart from give them a lot of love and exercise – Tyson is a beach bunny and loves nothing more that tearing down the beach at 100 miles an hour before hitting the surf for a swim. Tyson has been showing now for nearly 12 months and so far has accumulated 86 Challenge Points – showing is fun for both myself and Tyson and it really didn’t take much training to get him to stand correctly and run properly on the lead. I have found that having 2 leads might be the way to go as his everyday lead he can play up a little but not when he has his show lead on – he know when his show lead is on – its show-time only. I can’t thank Masterkarn Kennels enough for the enjoyment Tyson has bought us both in and out of the show ring and I can highly recommend them if you are looking at getting a quality German Pinscher – I’m certainly getting my next one from them!! We also get lots of comments about what a gorgeous dog she is, how cute etc. etc . I must say though she was lots of work at the start as she was difficult to toilet train and still is a bit willful about where she wants to go (not in the house at least!). I had contacted Anita of Masterkarn Kennels, and put my name on her list for a male GP. As mother nature would have it Anita’s bitch did not have any pups born, and Anita was unsure of when her next litter would be, so she referred me to another breeder. So we now have our male GP, he is now 3 ½ years of age and now has his Australian Champion title and CCD title in obedience. My relationship with Masterkarn Kennels has now come full circle, where I went to Anita for a pup, she is now having a Rex litter. I still keep in contact with Anita and John, they have always been very helpful, even when I’ve asked silly questions. It is amazing how our friendship has grown out of that initial puppy enquiry. Over the years we have had a number of different breeds; Border Collie, Kelpies and a Blue Heeler (Cattle dog). However since owning a GP we would not consider having any other type. Masterkarn were most helpful when we made our initial enquiries and have been ongoing support since we have purchased a pup- Bella. Due to Masterkarn down sizing due to circumstances beyond their control they were looking to re-home a 2 year old desexed male, Axel, which turned out to be Bella's dad. We decided to add him to the family and he has fitted in without missing a beat. As Anita pointed out although they can be head strong you get to the point the penny is teetering on it's edge and then finally the penny drops and the result is a loving, well behaved entertaining member of your family. Wir haben unsere ersten beiden deutschen Pinscher LolIi und Jett von Anita und John Fryer bei Masterkarn Kennels gekauft. Wir empfanden sie als sehr hilfsbereit und kompetent. Ich informierte sie über unsere familiäre Situation und sie vermittelten uns den Welpen, der am besten zu unserer Familie passen würde. Seitdem haben wir sowohl mit John als auch mit Anita über unsere Hunde gesprochen und festgestellt, dass sie sehr hilfsbereit sind und ihr Wissen weitergeben, um uns bei der Pflege unserer Hunde zu unterstützen. Sowohl LolIi als auch Jett sind tolle Hunde und geschätzte Familienmitglieder. Wir schätzen die Hilfe und Unterstützung, die John und Anita uns geleistet haben, sehr. Unserem Welpen geht es wirklich gut, er macht viel Spaß und ist sehr munter und interaktiv. Am Ende nannten wir sie Tilly und sie ist ein sehr geliebtes Mitglied unserer Familie. Wir bekommen auch viele Kommentare darüber, was für ein wunderschöner Hund sie ist, wie süß usw. usw. Ich muss allerdings zugeben, dass sie am Anfang eine Menge Arbeit hatte, da es für sie schwierig war, auf die Toilette zu gehen, und sie immer noch etwas eigensinnig ist, wohin sie gehen möchte (zumindest nicht ins Haus!). Ich hatte in der Zeitschrift Dogs Life einen Artikel über Rassenprofile gesehen und mir gefiel die Vorstellung von der Vielseitigkeit des GP. Ich hatte Anita von Masterkarn Kennels kontaktiert und meinen Namen auf ihre Liste für einen Hausarzt für Männer gesetzt. Wie Mutter Natur es wollte, brachte Anitas Hündin keine Welpen zur Welt und Anita war sich nicht sicher, wann ihr nächster Wurf sein würde, also verwies sie mich an einen anderen Züchter. Jetzt haben wir also unseren männlichen GP, er ist jetzt 3 ½ Jahre alt und hat nun seinen australischen Meistertitel und CCD-Titel im Gehorsam. Meine Beziehung zu Masterkarn Kennels hat sich nun geschlossen, wo ich zu Anita gegangen bin, um einen Welpen zu holen, sie hat jetzt einen Rex-Wurf. Ich halte immer noch Kontakt zu Anita und John, sie waren immer sehr hilfsbereit, auch wenn ich dumme Fragen gestellt habe. Es ist erstaunlich, wie sich aus dieser ersten Welpenanfrage unsere Freundschaft entwickelt hat. Ich freue mich auf viele weitere Jahre der Freundschaft und des guten sportlichen Wettbewerbs.... Masterkarn war sehr hilfsbereit, als wir unsere ersten Anfragen stellten, und hat uns kontinuierlich unterstützt, seit wir einen Welpen gekauft haben. Bella. Da Masterkarn aufgrund von Umständen, die außerhalb ihrer Kontrolle lagen, die Größe verkleinerte, suchten sie nach einem 2-jährigen, desexuellen Rüden namens Axel, bei dem es sich, wie sich herausstellte, um Bellas Vater handelte. Wir beschlossen, ihn in die Familie aufzunehmen, und er hat sich gut eingelebt ohne einen Takt auszulassen. Wie Anita betonte, kommen sie, obwohl sie kopfstark sein können, an den Punkt, an dem der Penny auf der Kippe steht, und dann fällt der Penny schließlich und das Ergebnis ist ein liebevolles, gut erzogenes, unterhaltsames Mitglied Ihrer Familie. Wir haben unseren wundervollen deutschen Pinscherrüden, den unser Sohn Noah nannte. Noah wächst und lernt Woche für Woche, Monat für Monat und wird nächsten Monat 1 Jahr alt. Kurz nachdem er bei uns zu Hause angekommen war, haben wir ihn für das Welpentraining angemeldet und er nimmt weiterhin an einem Sonntagstraining teil, das von unserem Gemeinderat durchgeführt wird. Er ist ein ziemlich großer Junge geworden und das ist sein Spitzname geworden. Es macht so viel Spaß, ihn bei uns zu haben, und er spielt gerne im Garten und wenn er die örtlichen Freilaufhundeparks besucht, da wir zwei in unserer Nähe haben, von denen einer zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Er besucht auch gerne einen Hundebereich am Strand, nicht weit von unserem Zuhause entfernt. Er ist in unserer Gegend ziemlich bekannt geworden, und die Leute in unserem örtlichen Einkaufszentrum fragten ihn nach seinem Rassetyp und sagten, wie großartig er sei, sodass er einige Leute und andere Hundebesitzer kennengelernt hat. Auf unserem letzten Computer gingen viele Bilder verloren, aber ich habe es geschafft, einige auf verlegten SD-Karten zu finden. Ich habe 2 Bilder von ihm im Alter von etwa 4 Monaten beigefügt (sein Schwanz scheint immer zu wedeln). Ich werde Ihnen weitere Bilder von ihm als Kind schicken. Auf Wiedersehen, Shane und Debbie
